The young communist Jan took the chartered train along with some 1,000 activists to Frankfurt to be part of the Blockupy Protest against the opening ceremony of the European Central Bank in March 2015. "The ECB is responsible for all the austerity measures on the welfare states in Greece and Spain", he says angrily, "and the Troika is a tool of the bourgeoisie". Jan marches through the City of Frankfurt along with some 20,000 protestors on March 18th, 2015. They are united around the idea that there is a future without capitalism. We accompanied him to the riots and asked him for his personal perspective on fair politics and why he became involved in political activism.
